The Cabins

On this

On this Patagonian nook the European migratory movements of the XIX and XX centuries marked the local architecture. Examples of this are the wooden framing, corrugated sheets and gable roofs. Las Cumbres Cabins were inspired by the pioneers’ architecture.

Our aim is that guests experience what living in a Patagonian home is like, offering them the necessary warmth and comfort to make them feel at home.

Bedrooms are provided with towels, 180 thread cotton bedding, light feather quilts ideal for keeping you warm on cold days. Extra blankets and smart pillows are supplied to sleep deeply. Next to the headrests there are reading lamps and curtains made of block out fabric, which are essential to control the room light. Due to our southern position, summer days are longer and sunrise is very early in the morning.

The kitchen is equipped with a battery of ceramic coated pots, a stove with oven, a microwave, a fridge and all the necessary cooking utensils. Sugar, tea and coffee bags are provided to enjoy hot infusions.

The living room, connected to the kitchen, has big windows overlooking the garden. It’s a bright and cozy room and the ideal place not only to relax after an intense day, but also to be lying down to plan the next adventurous day. Our spacious and sunny park is the perfect spot to enjoy the morning sun or to contemplate the charming and colourful Patagonian sunsets.

Each cabin is provided with streaming players and wi-fi.

The facilities also include an upper floor with bedrooms with private bathroom and exceptional views of Cerro Calafate. These bedrooms offer lodging for two people on single or double beds, according to the reservation made. There’s a frigobar, an electric kettle and necessary items to make infusions.

Every spot in Las Cumbres is created taking into account the guests’ needs. Come and live at a Patagonian home.
